Chalet Kochau offers a bold reinterpretation of the local vernacular architecture. Its structure elegantly ascends from the ground floor to the roof, featuring a series of five pillars that evolve into Y-shaped beams. This design choice not only serves a structural purpose but also lends a sculptural beauty to the residence.

The Chalet’s innovative design places the living area under the roof, immersing inhabitants in the panoramic mountain scenery. Below, the sleeping quarters and wellness facilities offer direct access to an outdoor pool and garden. Echoing the traditional architecture of Kitzbühel, the villa includes a wrap-around balcony and pitched roof overhangs.

The façade of Chalet Kochau is characterized by smooth, harmonious curves that elegantly transition from beam to column, creating a visual extension towards the mountains.

Accessibility is thoughtfully planned with an underground garage for vehicles and a staircase leading from the street to the living area for pedestrians. To enhance privacy and reduce the visual impact of the garage ramp, the villa and its base are elevated above street level.
