The project is based on the relationship between the site and the surroundings. The geometry aims to optimize the views towards the magnificent environment offered by the Dolomites creating a unique wooden sculpture with an impressive lobby. The archetype is strongly influenced by the mountain lifestyle, the shape of the roof and the facade reminiscent of the vernacular mountain architecture in the area. The two main wings oriented towards the valley encloses the guest rooms and the restaurant and bar. The third wing houses a multifunctional space used as a bar, breakfast area, and a VIP zone with a separate entrance. The glass facade and the skylights allow simultaneous 360-degree views of the valley below and the mountains behind. The underground program – wellness facilities – faces the valley, with outstanding outdoor spaces while still preserving the contours of the terrain.
